FreeBus provides trip planning for buses, trains and light rail, departure times at stops and live bus locations where data is available. It uses public data from the Ministry of Transport and maps from OpenStreetMap. The source code is available on GitHub under the MIT license.

Routes and times come from the Ministry of Transport's national timetable, which covers every public transport operator in Israel.
Before you go
Routes between a starting point and a destination, with departure and arrival times, walking directions and transfers.

The stop map shows approaching buses with their line numbers and estimated arrival times. Live information is shown where data is available.

During the trip
The lock screen shows the current trip stage, a countdown and route progress, including when to leave for the stop.

The home screen provides quick access to destination search, saved places and nearby stops with upcoming departure times.
